The absence of developed cephalic or pronotal structures is not a constant character that allows the differentiation of females and males because minor males may appear similar to females. However, males have the last abdominal ventrite medially emarginate ( Fig. 10A View FIGURE 10 ), while females have the last abdominal ventrite completely arcuate, not emarginate ( Fig. 10B View FIGURE 10 ).
