Current name: Melastoma malabathricum L. View in CoL ( Melastomataceae ).
Note: Bremer (1987) indicated material in Herb. Hermann ( BM) in both vol. 1: 55 and 4: 3 as type. Under Art. 9.15, this is a valid typification, later (1993) restricted to that in vol. 1: 55 by the same author.
