AUSTRALIA: NORTHERN TERRITORY. Moulds & Bannink (2012) reported an unspecified number of this unidentified species collected in the transition zone of a karst cave (i.e. in the region of total darkness — Howarth & Moldovan, 2018). Informed comment is difficult without a species-level identification, but this record is notable therein that the Trogidae originated from the dark zone.
