Aphelopus albifacialis Xu & He in Xu et al. 1997b: 7; He & Xu 2002: 68.
Description of Female. Fully winged; length 2.3–2.4 mm. Head black, except mandible, clypeus, malar space and anterior half of face yellow-whitish; antenna black-brown, except segment 1 yellow-whitish and segment 2 yellow; mesosoma black, except propleuron and lateral margins of pronotum testaceous, pronotal tubercle whitish; tegula grey-yellow; metasoma black; legs grey-whitish, except last tarsal segment brown. Antenna slightly clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 3.0:2.5:3.5:4.5:4.5:4.3:4.0:3.7:3.0:4.8; antennal segment 9 more than twice as long as broad (6:2). Head dull, granulated; frontal line almost complete, only absent in front of clypeus; POL = 3.0; OL = 2.0; OOL = 2.0; OPL = 2.0; TL = 2.2; occipital carina complete. Scutum dull, granulated. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.66 length of scutum ( 0.55 in original description). Scutellum and metanotum dull, granulated. Mesopleuron partly slightly granulated and partly unsculptured. Propodeum with transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface with four longitudinal keels, lateral areas striated and median area smooth and unsculptured. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
