Current name: Symphytum orientale L. View in CoL ( Boraginaceae ).

Note: Stearn (in Ann. Mus. Goulandris 7: 177. 1986) subsequently made the same type choice as Kurtto. Bottega & Garbari (in Webbia 58: 264, f. 10. 2003) reproduce the type illustration.
