Material. Indonesia. One specimen ( ZMA V.Pol 2162), Sulawesi, RV Siboga Exped ., Sta. 115 ( Kwandang E side of Pajunga Isl. ), reef-exploration, 9–11 July 1899 (highly contracted, poorly preserved; directed upwards, reaching chaetiger 4; branchiae short, filamentous, present along chaetigers 3–43 cirri about twice longer than branchiae; body terete, about 170 mm long, 8 mm wide, about 290
Remarks
The specimen (ZMA V.Pol 2162) does not belong in P. dubia (see above) because it has a terete caruncle branchiae are present along a very short anterior region, against having a sinuous caruncle and along body. The specimen is damaged, but it clearly differs from the two other Kudenovythoe indicated in the key above. The full description must be postponed for having better preserved
Distribution
Only known from Sulawesi, in reef environments.
