Type species: Kladotyphlus kahleni Pace, 1999 View in CoL . Original description.
Diagnosis. Gular sutures confluent, confluent point in about midlength of head capsule, from here prolonged ahead as one straight suture; ligula with two separated projectins; labrum with deep median incision and two wide lateral branches; antennae with 11 antennomeres, antennal club not clearly delimited; tarsal formula 3-3-3.
Remarks. The genus has only two Balkan species.
