Genital armature of female indistinct.
Remarks. The genus has three species, all are present in the Balkan Peninsula. It is believed that the natural area of the distribution is southern France, Italy, the Balkans and Turkey and that the parthenogenetic species Gynotyphlus perpusillus was introduced in many countries in Europe.
