Lectotype (Wijnands, Bot. Commelins: 96. 1983): Herb. Linn. No. 1206.7 ( LINN) .

Generitype of Clutia Linnaeus (vide Green, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 193. 1929).

Current name: Clutia pulchella L. View in CoL ( Euphorbiaceae ).

Note: Prain (in Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1913: 375-378. 1913) discussed the original elements for the name in some detail but did not make a choice of type.
