So far, Fulvius borgesi Chérot, J. Ribes & Gorczyca, 2006 View in CoL (Heteroptera¦ Miridae ¦ Cylapinae)
has been reported from the islands of La Palma and Tenerife ( Canary Islands, Spain) ( ROCA-CUSACHS et al., 2016, 2020; VAN DER HEYDEN, 2024).
Herein, the first record of F. borgesi from the island of Gran Canaria is reported¦ On 30-05- 2025, an adult specimen ( Fig. 1 View Fig ) was observed north of San José del Álamo , located in the northern part of the island (coordinates¦ 28.0838819561, -15.5083813165) GoogleMaps . Three photographs of the specimen were uploaded to the online database iNaturalist (see here).
