Perennial herbs. Stems several, simple. Leaves dentate to pinna tifid. Capitulum solitary. Involucral bracts in several rows. Receptacle with numerous scales. Ligules yellow. Achenes oblong; pappus of 5 or 6 ovate, dentate scales.
