Nematocysts: thin bands along the length of the tentacles, undischarged, euryteles 37–39 μm ± 0.8 x 13–14 μm ± 0.4 and warts scattered exumbrella, undischarged, spherical isorhizas 10–11 μm ± 0.5 x 10–11 μm ± 0.5.

DNA Sequence with accession numbers MEDUS187–25 had a greater than 90% identity with JN700978.1 Genbank number access ( C. xaymacana ).
