Hedychridium margaritaceum ( Semenov-Tian-Shanskij & Nikol’skaya, 1954)

Irenula margaritacea Semenov-Tian-Shanskij & Nikol’skaya, 1954: 102. Lectotype ♀ designated by Kimsey (1986 b: 109); Kazakhstan: Tartugai ( paratypes from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan) (ZISP, examined) ( margaritaceum group).

Hedychridium ( Hedychridium) margaritaceum : Linsenmaier (1968: 35) ( margaritaceum group). Linsenmaier (1997: 253) ( flavipes group).

Remarks. Linsenmaier (1997) included Irenula margaritacea in the Hedychridium flavipes group. However, this species is clearly separated from the other members of this group and, together with H. luteum Zimmermann, 1940 and H. chadense Kimsey, 1988b , belongs to a distinct group formerly named margaritaceum group by Linsenmaier (1968).

Distribution. Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan. Iran (Farab) ( Semenov-Tian-Shanskij & Nikol’skaya, 1954).
