Hedychrum semipurpureum Semenov-Tian-Shanskij in Semenov-Tian-Shanskij & Nikol’skaya, 1954: 108. Holotype ♂; Turkmenistan [not Kazakhstan]: Imam-Baba ( paratypes from Uzbekistan without further information) ( ZISP, examined).
Material examined. Uzbekistan: 1♂, 50 km W of Pahtakor , 24.V.1994, leg. M. Halada ( MHC) .
Distribution. Palaearctic, from Southern Europe and Northern Africa to Western Asia, Siberia and China. Central Asia: Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan ( Semenov-Tian-Shanskij & Nikol’skaya, 1954; Rosa et al. 2024).
