Holopyga generosa ( Förster, 1853)
Ellampus generosus Förster, 1853: 349 . Holotype ♂; Germany: Aachen (ZMB, examined).
Material examined. Uzbekistan: 3♂, Papngan , 20 km NW of Kokand, 12.V.1994, leg. M. Halada ( MHC, PRC) ; 1♂, 50 km W of Pahtakor , 24.V.1994, leg. M. Halada ( MHC) .
Remarks. Specimens from Uzbekistan show head and mesosoma with a more shining green colouration, rather than blue colour as in Europe.
Distribution. Trans-Palaearctic: from Western Europe to China and Korea ( Rosa et al. 2019).
Remarks. Holopyga generosa represent a species complex and the oldest name to be used for this taxon should be H. nitidula Dahlbom, 1845 ( Rosa et al. 2025).
