Localities and specimens found: 18 – 1♀.
Distribution and ecology. This sole female was found in the plant-filled littoral of a eutrophic lake (see Appendix 1).
Remarks. According to the structure of the rostrum and postabdomen, this individual resembles a South American species, Ch. dentifer Daday, 1905 (Smirnov 1996; Van Damme & Dumont 2010). However, some signs necessary for an accurate identification (in particular, the presence/absence of characteristic blunt denticles on the posterior-ventral angle of valves) are not visible on this mount due to its unsatisfactory quality. Thus, the species identity of this individual remains unclear.
