Distribution. Western to eastern Turkey, Cyprus, northern Iraq and Levant ( Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine).
Pollen hosts. Probably oligolectic on Ranunculus ( Ranunculaceae ) ( Sedivy et al. 2008, as Chelostoma species 2 ).
Nesting biology. Unknown.
