Material Examined. Mexico. Veracruz: Córdoba, Cuauhtémoc , one female in “trampa interceptación no. 2”, 1.ii.– 6.iii.2011 ( L.Delgado) ( IBUNAM) .
This species has been described recently based on material collected in Costa Rica and deposited in the Natural History Museum (London, United Kingdom), and differs from the other congeneric species by the internal markings on the pronotal reticles ( Lima et al. 2023). The additional specimen deposited in IBUNAM ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–11 ) represents the first record of O. tica in Mexico, which is the second country where the species has been reported. Based on its current distribution, O. tica might be widespread throughout Central America and Mexico.
