Laudakia stellio has small and laminar vomers, with a short flange-like expansion in the middle of its lateral margin. The anterior end is rounded, whereas the posterior border is irregular and bears laterally a pointed posterior process that fits in the vomerine process of the palatine ( Fig. 24B View Figure 24 ).
