Feeds on

Oligophagous on Populus spp. ( Burckhardt et al. 2023). In Bulgaria, we collected adults on Populus nigra L., which is one of the confirmed host plants.

Distribution

General distribution. Europe, Caucasus, Middle East, Central Asia, China, Mongolia. Distribution in Bulgaria (Fig. 46 b View Figure 46 b ). Published records: RRW ( Głowacka and Harizanov 1983). Material examined: PKZ, RPM.

Diagnosis

Adult (Fig. 46 a View Figure 46 a ) and fifth-instar immature. Ossiannilsson (1992).
