Notes.
When describing Vanilla rojasiana, Hoehne (1941) listed two specimens ( T. Rojas 5082 and T. Rojas 5082 A) from different gatherings according to his collection dates (April 1927 and May 1927), which are considered syntypes. We found two specimens corresponding to 5082 at SP. Hereby, we select SP 002433 as lectotype, as it bears a dissection of the flower.
