Lectotype (designated here by Reveal, Barrie & Jarvis): Clayton 23 (BM), see p. 198 in colour, and above, right.
Current name: Cornus florida L. ( Cornaceae ).
Note: Holub (in Zprávy Českoslov. Bot. Společn. Českoslov. Akad. Věd. 17: 12. 1982) indicated both 151.1 and 151.2 (LINN) as “Typus” but as these are evidently not part of a single gathering, Art. 9.15 does not apply. Clayton 57 (BM), the lectotype, is reproduced by Gaden (in Virginia Explorer 15: 24. 1999).
