Host plants/gall: Potentilla spp. ( P. arenaria Borkh. , P. canescens Bees. , P. heptaphylla L., P. reptans L. etc.)—galls in root collar, on leaf petiole or stem.

Distribution in Dobrogea: Murfatlar CT county (Borcea, in Ionescu, 1957), Dobrogea ( Ionescu, 1973), Uzlina village in Danube Delta, TL county ( Mustaţӑ & Andriescu, 1993), Canaraua Fetii Natural Reserve, Eforie North-on Black Sea coast, Hagieni forest Natural Reserve, CT county (Şchiopu, herein recorded).
