Host plants/gall: Q. dal., Q. fr., Q. ped ., Q. pet ., Q. pub ., Q.r. (- a -), Q. cer . (- s -)—spherical gall ( 15–25 mm Ø), solitary or grouped, in terminal or lateral buds (- a -); globular galls (2 × 3 mm), single or in groups, between the bud’s scales (- s -).
Distribution in Dobrogea: CocoŞ Monastery, Isaccea, Tulcea, Malcoci, TL county ( Borcea, 1912), Valu lui Traian CT county ( Ionescu, 1957), Hagieni forest Natural Reserve, Negru Vodӑ forest ( Şchiopu, 1980), Bӑneasa, Negureni, Viile—forests, CT county ( Tudor, 1986), Esechioi, Neptun (Comorova forest), Şipotele, CT county (author, a new record).
