Host plants/gall: Q. fr., Q. ped ., Q. pet ., Q. pub ., Q. r.—gall in buds (- a -); ovoidal galls (± 2 × 3 mm) developed along on catkins (- s -).
Distribution in Dobrogea: CocoŞ Monastery, Isaccea, Tulcea, Malcoci, TL county ( Borcea, 1912), common species in Romania ( Ionescu, 1973), Hagieni forest Natural Reserve ( Şchiopu, 1980), Amzacea forestry band, the forests— Dumbrӑveni, Negru Vodӑ, Şipotele, Neptun (Comorova forest and „the grey oaks” Natural Reserve), CT county (author, a new record).
