Host plants/gall: Q. fr., Q. pet ., Q. pub . ( Q. vir .), Q. r.—gall (± 12 mm long) in terminal or lateral buds of shoots (- a -); ovoidal gall (1.5 × 2–3 mm) on catkins (- s -).

Distribution in Dobrogea:Babadag TL county ( Ionescu & Kierych, 1966),Amzacea forestry band, forests—Canaraua Fetii Natural Reserve, Esechioi, Hagieni Natural Reserve, Neptun (Comorova forest), CT county (Şchiopu, herein recorded).
