Pseudoneuroterus saliens ( Kollar, 1857)

[syn. Neuroterus saliens ( Kollar, 1857) (- a -); Neuroterus glandiformis ( Giraud, 1859) (- s -)]

Host plants/gall: Q. cer .—ovoidal galls (2–3 mm long) stringed on dorsal main rib of leaves or along young shoots, fixed in bark cracks (- a -); multilocular gall (± 15 mm Ø) into acorn’s cup (- s -).

Distribution in Dobrogea: Northern Dobrogea (Brândză, in Ionescu, 1957; Ionescu, 1973), Hagieni forest Natural Reserve ( Şchiopu, 1980), the forests—Esechioi, Negru Vodӑ, Neptun (Comorova forest) CT county, Mӑcin Mountains TL county (author, a new record).
