Host plants/gall: Rosa spp. (as R. canina L., R. arvensis Huds. , R. dumetorum Thuill. , pimpinelifollia L., R. rubiginosa L. etc.)—multilocular globular gall on buds, leaf or fruits.
Distribution in Dobrogea: CocoŞ Monastery, Isaccea, Malcoci, Tulcea, Niculiţel, TL county ( Borcea, 1912), common specie in Romania ( Ionescu, 1973), the forests—Dumbrӑveni, Hagieni Natural Reserve, CT county ( Şchiopu, 1980), Valu lui Traian CT county, Caraorman forest into Danube Delta TL county ( Tudor, 1986), the forests—Negru Vodӑ, Şipotele, Neptun (Comorova forest) CT county, Babadag, Mӑcin Mountains TL county, and many other places (author, a new record).
