Diplolepis mayri ( Schlechtendal, 1876) (*)

Host plants/gall: Rosa spp. ( R. arvensis Huds. , R. canina L., R. dumetorum Thuill. , R. tomentosa Sm. )—aggregated globular galls on different organs of the plant (leaves, flowers, fruits).

Distribution in Dobrogea: Cotu Vӑii grove, Hagieni forest Natural Reserve, Negru Vodӑ, Neptun (Comorova forest), CT county (Şchiopu, herein recorded).

(*) new record for Dobrogea Province.
