Chorotype. Holomediterranean.

In Algeria, the species was recorded by Jäch (1992) from Chiffa and Singes River ( Blida Wilaya). In Kabylia, the species was found on the Djurdjura massif ( Tizi-Ouzou Wilaya) ( Lounaci 1987, 2005; Aït Mouloud 1988). It was not captured during this study.
