Current name: Saltera sarcocolla (L.) Bullock View in CoL ( Penaeaceae ).
Note: Although Dahlgren (in Opera Bot. 18: 52. 1968) indicated material in the Wahlbom herbarium in UPS as the lectotype, this collection lacks the relevant Species Plantarum number (i.e. “1”) and was a post-1753 addition to the herbarium, and is not original material for the name. He also incorrectly indicated a different type, from the Bergius herbarium (SBT), for the superfluous P. fucata L. (1771) which is necessarily homotypic with P. sarcocolla .
