Spiridion modricensis (Hrabĕ, 1973)
Salt spring near Zadar, Dalmatia, Croatia (Hrabĕ 1973); Jama pri ogradi, Gangarol island, Murter, Croatia (Martínez-Ansemil et al. 2016); freshwater (probably influenced by sea water) at the mouth of a small stream, Tjärnö, Sweden (Erséus et al. 1992). S. modricensis is also present in marine littoral sandy habitats, and is qualify as a probably oligohaline brackish-water species (Erséus et al. 1992)
