DISTRIBUTION. Europe, Russia (European part, Far East), Turkey, China (Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Xizang, Taiwan), Japan, North America, South America.

BIOLOGY. Primary parasitoid of coleopterans of the family Scolytidae , dipterans of the families Agromyzidae , Cecidomyiidae , Chloropidae , Drosophilidae , Tephritidae and lepidopterans of the family Lyonetiidae .
