= Dendarus kochi Trichas, 2008 (nec Dendarus stygius kochi Medvedev, 1968 )

Remarks. Trichas (2008) described Dendarus kochi from Kythnos Island ( Greece); precedently Medvedev (1968) had already introduced the name Dendarus stygius kochi as a substitute of Dendarus stygius oertzeni Koch, 1948 , described from Euboea Island ( Greece) and, in its turn, homonym of Dendarus oertzeni Seidlitz, 1893 described from Nazareth ( Israel). Dendarus kochi Trichas, 2008 is therefore a junior primary homonym of the taxon of Medvedev, reason why the establishment of a replacement name is necessary; named after Apostolos Trichas of the University of Crete, author of interesting essays on the Dendarus species of Greece.

Trichas (2008) describe Dendarus kochi de la isla de Kythnos ( Grecia); anteriormente Medvedev (1968) había creado el nombre Dendarus stygius kochi como sustituto de Dendarus stygius oertzeni Koch, 1948 , descrito de la isla de Euboea ( Grecia) que, a su vez, era un homónimo de Dendarus oertzeni Seidlitz, 1893 , descrito de Nazareth ( Israel). Dendarus kochi Trichas, 2008 es por tanto un homónimo más moderno del taxón de Medvedev, razón por la cual es necesario un nombre de reemplazo; derivado de Apostolos Trichas, de la Universidad de Creta, autor de interesantes ensayos sobre las especies de Dendarus de Grecia.
