The type species by original designation of the genus erected by Kaźmierski (1996b: 201) is based on a unique specimen of Baker (1968), Lorryia fundadorensis , which is a deutonymph the chaetotaxy of which was partly published but completed by Kaźmierski (1996b: 201).
