Bulletin de l’Herbier Boissier, sér 2, 1 (6): 578 (1901). — Lectotype (here designated): Mocquerys 424 ( G [ G00023980 ]).
Mocquerys 424 is here chosen as the lectotype of Diospyros mangabensis Aug.DC. instead of the other syntype ( Mocquerys 411) because of the more complete description of the flowers and inflorescences on the label.
