Maba myriophylla H.Perrier, Mémoires de l’Institut scientifique de Madagascar, sér. B, 4: 101 (1952). — Lectotype (here designated): Humbert 12692 (P! [00573593]; iso-, BR!, G!, K!, MO!, P! [ P00573594 , P00573595 ], PRE!, S!, TAN!, TEF!, WAG!).
Humbert 12692 is here chosen as the lectotype of Maba myriophylla H.Perrier instead of the other syntypes ( Decary 7338, Decary 17848, Humbert 5932, Humbert 12354, Humbert 14101, Humbert 14235, Perrier 19191) because it has widely distributed duplicates. One other syntype ( Humbert 12852) is excluded from M. myriophylla as it represents a collection of D. myrtifolia H.Perrier.
