Diospyros gracilipes Hiern var. subenervis H. Perrier, Mémoires de l’Institut scientifique de Madagascar, sér. B, 4: 139 (1952). — Lectotype (here designated): Decary 4230 (P! [ P00541740 ]; iso-, MO!, P! [ P00541741 ], TEF!).
Decary 4230 is here chosen as the lectotype of Diospyros gracilipes Hiern var. subenervis instead of the other syntype ( Decary 10210) because it has more widely distributed duplicates.
