Distribution in Laos. Luang Prabang Province ( Brosch et al. 1999; Kishida et al. 2020), Phongsaly Province, and Champasak Province (this study).

Remarks. (1) The first records from Phongsaly and Champasak provinces. The species is reported from the south of Laos for the first time. (2) Based on doubtful morphological differences and insignificant genetic distance, Cricula andamanica Jordan, 1909 syn. nov. is considered here as a junior synonym of Cricula trifenestrata (Helfer, 1837) . COI p -distance between C. trifenestrata and C. andamanica is 0.6%.
