Distribution in Laos. Luang Namtha Province ( Brosch et al. 1999; Racheli et al. 2008) and Boli Kham Xai Province ( Racheli et al. 2008).

Remarks. (1) In Laos the subspecies occurs in the northern and probably the central parts, whereas the southern part is inhabited by another subspecies, namely Actias sinensis siriae Brechlin & Van Schayck, 2017 . (2) A. sinensis sinensis and Actias parasinensis Brechlin, 2009 are sympatrically occurring taxa. This fact should be taken into account when identifying these taxa from the north and the centre of the country.
