Lectotype (Lassen inTurland & Jarvis in Taxon 46: 474. 1997): Herb. Linn. No. 931.10 ( LINN) .

Current name: Lotus arabicus L. View in CoL ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).

Note: Gillett (in Milne-Redhead & Polhill, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Leguminosae 4: 1048. 1971) indicated the specimen in Herb. Linn. No. 931.11 ( LINN) as the lectotype, but this cannot be regarded as relevant original material because there is nothing in Linnaeus’ annotation of the sheet to link it with L. arabicus .
