Type material. Holotype ♀ ( ZMUT): MOROCCO: Chefchaouen Prov . : 26 km E Bab Berred, Rif Mts, 34°57'40.8"N, 4°40'09.9"W, 1650 m, cedar forest, 5–7.IV.2024 (leg. C. Reuter). GoogleMaps

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the country of origin of the type material.

Diagnosis. The new species is unique in possessing 8-shaped receptacles (in ventral view), a character unknown in other congeners or in any other genus of Zelotinae.

Description. Female ( holotype). Habitus as in Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 . Total length 7.65. Carapace 3.0 long, 2.3 wide. Carapace, sternum, labium and maxillae dark chocolate brown; chelicerae dark reddish brown, with 4 pro- and 2 retromarginal teeth. Palps light brown; legs dark chocolate brown with faint light markings, distal segments lighter. Abdomen grey. Spinnerets dark grey. Measurements of palp and legs: palp: 2.55 (0.9, 0.5, 0.4, -, 0.75), I: 6.8 (1.9, 1.25, 1.45, 1.25, 0.95), II: 6.2 (1.75, 1.2, 1.2, 1.1, 0.95), III: 5.4 (1.45, 0.8, 1.0, 1.3, 0.85), IV: 7.9 (2.2, 1.05, 1.7, 1.95, 1.0).

Epigyne as in Fig. 12A–C View FIGURE 12 ; epigynal plate 1.4× longer than wide; anterior hoods ( Ah) wide, semiround, spaced by less than one diameter; fovea U-shaped, located in anterior half of epigynal plate, slightly wider than long; copulatory ducts ( Cd) indistinct or very wide, fused together, with anterior glands ( Gl); posterior chambers ( Pc) almost round, as wide as anterior hoods; receptacles ( Re) 1.25× wider than posterior chambers.

Male. Unknown.

Habitat. Montane coniferous forest ( Fig. 14B View FIGURE 14 ).

Distribution. Known only from the type locality in Chefchaouen Province, Morocco.
