Notes

First reported by Rasnitsyn (1964), but as the exact context of this finding is unclear, and as Schwarz (1998) mentions this species hibernates in the host cocoon, it is unclear how to interpret his results. Similar to G. areator , the use of multiple hibernation strategies could be possible, but this is speculative.

Status: Unverified.
