Diagnosis. Predominantly yellow body, black dot on mesopleuron immediately below fore wing, propodeum mostly unsculptured except for a weak median carina anteriorly.
Description. Body length 7.0. Fore wing length 5.3. Ovipositor length 4.9. Body color mostly yellow with some black; black as follows: antennae including scape, most of occiput, antennal insertions (some paratypes lack black color on the head); patches immediately below and behind wing insertions; apices of hind femur and tibia slightly darkened ( paratypes vary from black to yellow in these areas of the hind leg). Fore wing weakly and evenly infuscate. Propodeum almost completely smooth, a short medial carina anteriorly. Cub of hind wing not (or barely) pigmented.
Etymology. Named in honor of Dr Wendy Moore, for her hospitality and support while I (MJS) was on sabbatical at the University of Arizona.
Specimens examined. Holotype ♀, USA: Arizona. Santa Cruz Co. Sonoita, 3.2 km S. town center, 31°38’N, 110°39’W, 15–30.vii.2013. Malaise trap, juniper, oak, grass, E.E. Grissell, H14986 (HIC). Paratypes.
