Diagnosis
Camisiid mites (Grandjean 1953, Sitnikova 1975) with the following combination of adult characters. Prodorsum densely and deeply foveate; porose bothridial saccule unusually large. Notogaster strongly convex; cuticle smooth, rather shiny, without longitudinal ridges or lateral folds and without suprapleural scissure separating dorsal and lateral parts of plate; with 15 pairs of setae plus alveolar vestiges of pair f1; setae without basal apophyses or tubercles and of diverse lengths (rows h and p shorter than others). Coxisternal pairs fused medially; setation: 3133. Preanal plate distinct, triangular, porose. Aggenital, anal and adanal setation 2, 2, and 3 pairs, respectively; genital plates transversely divided by poorly sclerotized band, medial region of plates without longitudinal, submarginal carina. Stenarthric subcapitulum with two pairs of medial genal setae ( m) and two pairs of adoral setae; palp setation 01037. Tarsi monodactylous. Solenidial formulae (legs IIV): genua 1111; tibiae 2111; tarsi 3200.
