ETYMOLOGY
Dedicated to Evelyn Arthur Joseph Duffy.
SIZE
Previous records: 13–18 mm; Kuzikus specimens (n=21): 11.5–17 mm.
PERIOD OF ADULT ACTIVITY
August–November.

NOTE
From the 65 species composing the genus Derolus Gahan, 1891 , D. duffyi is one of the six species occurring in Namibia.
