ETYMOLOGY
Latin: ferrugator , bearing rusted iron; marginalis: with a band on the margin.
SIZE
Previous records: 28–39 mm; Kuzikus specimens (n=14): 26–36 mm.

Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Republic of South Africa and Swaziland.
NOTES
From the 58 species composing the genus Ceroplesis Audinet-Serville, 1835 , Ceroplesis ferrugator marginalis is one of the five taxa occurring in Namibia. Our collecting data in the period from end of March to middle of April extends and completes the flight period of the species.
