ETYMOLOGY
Latin: with brown dots.
SIZE
Previous records: 6–15 mm; Kuzikus specimens (n=4): 8–11.5 mm.
PERIOD OF ADULT ACTIVITY
From January to May, July and from November to December.

DISTRIBUTION
Botswana, Cameroun, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Gambia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Republic of South Africa, Senegal, Somalia, Tanzania, Transvaal and Uganda.
NOTE
From the 311 species composing the genus Eunidia Erichson, 1843 , E. brunneopunctata represents one of the 16 species (with E. thomseni , see below) occurring in Namibia.
