ETYMOLOGY
Greek: πλάγιος, oblique and Latin: neck (pronotum).
SIZE
Previous records: 11–12 mm; Kuzikus specimens (n=27): 9–11 mm.
PERIOD OF ADULT ACTIVITY
March to June, and October; in Kuzikus, also in September.
