ETYMOLOGY
Greek: λόφος, crest and πτερόν, wing.
SIZE
Previous records: 11–15.75 mm; Kuzikus specimens (n=12): 11.5–16.5 mm.

Tetradia lophoptera represents the single species composing the genus Tetradia Thomson, 1864 .
